Can I let you in on a secret? The journey to the aisle isn't about figuring out logistics or picking out designs. I know that's the opposite of what you'd think a wedding planner would say, but it's true! This time should be focused on experiencing new adventures, learning new communications skills, and celebrating your two families coming together. I love witnessing the ways in which you and your family honor one another, share in joy, celebrate and welcome a new journey, and promise to support you through the ups and downs that any marriage is bound to experience. I love lighting the candles on your In Memorial table, being sure to study each face, noticing the features you share. I love that I am there on Day One, just as these relationships become Forever. I especially love being able to love on your family, both on Earth and in Heaven, celebrating all together the journey that brought you two here.

Managing the smaller, lesser thought of details, allows me to serve you in a greater capacity. I love gathering the bridal details so your photographer doesn't have to hunt for them or putting on the Groom's and Groomsmen's boutonnieres because who really knows how to do that? I do... expertly. I love bustling up your skirt, quickly, because you're ready to hit the dance floor with your husband. And at the end of the night, who collects the red-hot sparklers once you've left? I do. I'm there to take care of the smaller things because it all feeds into the bigger picture.

Sometimes it's a complete surprise, sometimes we plan it into your day as a surprise for your guests, but I love including fun quirks about you two as individuals and as a couple! It adds a uniqueness to your day! Love popcorn? Let's have a popcorn bar! Into donuts? Let's have a donut cake! Want to have an End of the Night Snack bar? Let's have Pizza or Tacos! We've even had an ice cream truck come to a wedding!

First Looks are so special, but even more so when it involves a parent. It really communicates a "Thank You" and "I Love You" to the person who influenced you, who poured copious amounts of love into you, who witnessed your life's greatest moments, who deserves the gift of time with just their baby girl on her wedding day. It is such a precious moment, an emotional one, and I love adding this time into your day.

You're marrying your best friend! Spending the day apart is tough enough and if you're anything like me, you want to share the only private moment you'll get through the entire day together. A First Look is the best way to give you two ample time to love on one another, see each other, spend time together, grab some Romantic Portraits, and reaffirm the promise of forever.

The First Touch is so fun! It makes the aisle walk so much more anticipating. It's a great way to offer time of prayer together or read love letters to one another without breaking the tradition of seeing one another before walking down the aisle. It's fun to see you pass sparks of adrenaline to one another!

It's such a small act, but I love being the one to fluff your dress right as you're about to walk down the aisle. It's my last act for you as a single woman before you become a married woman. One last detail perfected for you, done with so much love and well wishes, before you embark on your new journey!
The Final Fluff
I'll be there in the back, holding the doors to your escape wide open for you, seeing you as your happiest selves. I get to be one of the first people to actually say "CONGRATULATIONS, NEWLYWEDS!" to you. It's a huge honor.

Your friends goof off with you and your grandparents watching on from their table laughing and enjoying the festivities. I'm a natural born problem solver, lover of details, calm under pressure, and a loud laugher. My favorite aspect of planning is learning who you are as individuals and a couple and incorporating unique details that represent you into your wedding day. You won't just have a planner by your side, you'll have a best friend.
What, seriously, can't you live without in your daily life and why?
My faith, coffee, my cats, my husband.
What are some fun things people should know about you?
I have a low-key obsession with Tinkerbell. I collect little trinkets of hers!
What is your business named after and why?
My cat and my favorite color!
What do you find is important that any prospective client know about you?
That I'm genuine when it comes to my relationship with them. This is not another transaction but it's a new opportunity to help them navigate one of the most important days of their life.

Rina cherishes celebrations and has always done whatever she could to make personal events look and feel special and meaningful. She attributes her love for them to her grandfather, Papa, who loved every and any excuse to host a party. Rina's passion and desire to be a part of the industry has only grown over time.
What excites you about being a part of Team T+T?
I first met Katie in the midst of replanning my original May 2020 wedding ( officially married July 2021!). She was 1500% supportive of what we wanted and needed. It wasn’t about her business - she wholeheartedly just wanted me to have my day, the way I envisioned it. I’m excited to be a part of a team that truly puts its couples above all else. I’m excited to be there on their wedding day and to make sure the day exceeds what they imagined. To be your advocate, your supporter, your hype squad.
What is your favorite part of wedding day?
I have always loved when the bride and groom is announced for the first time into their reception! There is something about it… the energy, the excitement, and the relief. It has all culminated to this moment, now they can enjoy, be themselves and celebrate their love and their marriage.

What is your favorite part of wedding day?
I love seeing our brides and grooms interactions during the ceremony. While they aren't always able to fully speak to each other, you can see how much love is between them and the unspoken things they say through hand squeezes and eye contact.
Which core value of T+T's do you resonate with most?
I really resonate with simplicity. When you hear that, you might think about a simple wedding but what I think of is the simplicity of the day itself. A lot of couples can get caught up in the hustle and bustle of both planning and the actual wedding day. While all of it is incredibly exciting, in the end it all comes down to you and the love you have for each other. Being able to boil it down to that simple fact of sharing your love with others is what it's all about!
When not assisting on a wedding day, where can we find you?
Where to start! When not assisting on a wedding day I love hanging out with friends and exploring new wineries and breweries in VA. I also am a HUGE hockey fan so during the season I'm either at games or in front of my TV cheering on the Caps!

What excites you about being a part of Team T+T?
Being a part of the T+T team has been one of the best experiences of my life! I truly look forward to seeing our couples on their wedding day, but being around our team members is what gets me excited to go to work. Being around our team members and seeing how much each of them loves the job is something that is truly inspiring!
What is your favorite part of wedding day?
Reception reveals! Seeing the reaction of the couple as they walk into their dream reception space is the BEST part of any wedding day!
When not assisting on a wedding day, where can we find you?
When I am not assisting on a wedding day, I am working full time as the Membership Coordinator at the George Mason University Hylton Performing Arts Center in Manassas, Virginia, baking for my business, Belle & Lu Desserts, enjoying my time with my husband (as of Nov 2024!).

What excites you about being a part of Team T+T?
Seeing the process of what goes into planning such an important life event is what excites me the most. It is truly an honor to be a part of such a celebratory moment of a couple's life together.
Which core value of T+T's do you resonate with most?
I resonate with honesty the most. Being honest with a couple during the planning process and on the day of is crucial. It not only allows for open communication, but it also builds trust. Being honest every step of the way will make you feel more comfortable and allows you to trust that everything will work out the way it's supposed to.
When not assisting on a wedding day, where can we find you?
When not assisting on a wedding day, you can find me working in higher education in Washington, D.C.. I absolutely love the city and exploring all the bookstores and cafes. I'm also very much into going to concerts, traveling, and seeing a movie!

I am so excited to be a part of a team that loves making special, intentional moments happen! A wedding is a joyous, treasured moment in a couple’s journey, and it’s an honor to play a small part in making that one-of-a-kind day come to life.
What is your favorite part of wedding day?
The first dance always gets me misty eyed! Whether it’s intricately choreographed, more low-key, or even a little bit silly, it’s one of my favorite ways that the couple gets to celebrate who they are and their love.
When not assisting on a wedding day, where can we find you?
On a non-wedding day, you can probably find me at a concert, comedy show, or sporting event - though I’ll most likely be reading a good book next to my cat, Waffles!

What excites me most about being part of Team T+T is the chance to help couples bring their wedding dreams to life. I know that many couples have been long-envisioning their special day, imagining every detail from the venue to the vows. Being able to contribute to making that vision a reality is incredibly rewarding!

I resonate with intentionality the most. I believe that every couple deserves a celebration that authentically reflects their unique journey together. To me, weddings aren't just events; they're a celebration of the couple's love and the couple themselves. I love honoring a couple's story in a way that feels genuine to them.
When not assisting on a wedding day, where can we find you?
When not assisting on a wedding day, you can find me enjoying outdoor seating at restaurants in DC with my fiancé, or getting my steps in around the city. I also love traveling, attending live shows or food festivals, and relaxing on the beach!

Tilly is the namesake behind Tilly and Teal! While the jury is still out on whether or not she also holds a love for the color teal, she does hold the title of Purrfector of Mommy's Work... a job she takes very seriously. She demands attention with meows when we're on the phone and she may make an appearance or two daily on Tilly and Teal's social media accounts.
