Tips and Tricks | Bridesmaids Proposals

There a bazillion cute ways to ask your best girls to be a part of your bride tribe, but just in case you’re feeling a little stuck or looking for inspiration, here are a few fun ways to do it!

Classic Approach

Ok, so first things first you can always take one of the classic routes for your bridesmaids’ proposals. These include rounding up your girls and taking them to brunch or dinner, but it also could mean you hand-delivering their proposal to them at home.

Happy Mail

Who doesn’t love happy mail? We do not mean bills or those annoying credit card offers but something fun and unexpected in your mailbox from a loved one. This could be done in a few ways! For instance, you could leave their proposal box on their front step for them to find or you could leave it in their actual mailbox. Bonus points if you attach a balloon to the mailbox! This sweet surprise would be fun for anyone to come home to!

Surprise Party

When you love your girlfriends enough to have them stand up with you on your wedding day, why not throw them a surprise party? Invite your girls over separately for a wine or movie night and when they all show up you can propose and celebrate with your whole group. Doing this at home means you could get super creative and have a theme/balloons/confetti/etc!!

Scavenger Hunt

Send your girlfriends on a scavenger hunt around your town or somewhere else fun! It is a great bonding experience for your girls, especially if some of them don’t know each other well. At the end of the scavenger hunt, you can have their proposal boxes waiting! I highly recommend jumping out with confetti or balloons for this idea (just for fun)!

The Classic Proposal 2.0

Instead of just asking your friends at a restaurant, revamp the classic proposal by going somewhere fun and different! Get your girls together at a winery, a sip & paint class, or even an amusement park. With fall and the holidays coming up why not ask them at a pumpkin patch, haunted house, or Christmas festival!
